Designer Kasta Morrely Fashion Week Cruise Edition 2021

The international cultural event of Fashion Theater started at the Palace of the Army in Iași with the military music of the Iași Garrison from the 15th Mechanized Podu Înalt Brigade, led by Captain Gil Negrei. Romania’s national anthem was sung by the talented Rianna Rusu trained at Kasta Morrely Music. Barbara Gessler The opening of the anniversary event was officiated by Mrs. Barbara Gessler, Head of the Creative Europe Unit, Directorate General for Education, Youth, Culture and Sport of the European Commission, who congratulated the Kasta Morrely Fashion Week festival for innovation, the original concept and promoting sustainability, culture and education at the international level.

The opening of the anniversary event was officiated by Mrs. Barbara Gessler, Head of the Creative Europe Unit, Directorate General for Education, Youth, Culture and Sport of the European Commission, who congratulated the Kasta Morrely Fashion Week festival for innovation, the original concept and promoting sustainability, culture and education at the international level.

 

 

Intercultural Collection

 

The first Intercultural Collection created within the project opened the evening of the festival with the public in premiere. Respecting the principles of sustainable fashion and the traditional specifics of each country, the collection was created by a team of designers from Katty Fashion Romania, Intercultural for All Portugal and Sfax University Tunisia, to promote sustainable fashion.

 

IN COUTURE BY KIWI

 

Special guest at the anniversary edition, the international designer MUHAMMET SALKA, designer and founder of IN COUTURE by KIWI from Turkey, presented for the first time his couture collection, for which he received the excellence award from the organizers of Kasta Morrely Fashion Week.

 

VERA ANTON

 

Mrs. VERA ANTON's collection from Suceava presented the harmonious association between modern fashion trends and traditional elements specific to the Romanian ethos, highlighting the motifs from Bucovina and those from the Chernivtsi region.

 

VICTORIA SAVA

 

Combining the classic-elegant with the versatile and comfort, VICTORIA SAVA from Bucharest presented a collection that stood out with its refined note, with volumes, colors and materials that emphasized good taste, elegance and glamorous style.

 

ADRIANA AGOSTINI

 

With a presence in Romania and Italy, ADRIANA AGOSTINI presented a collection of scenes, which transposed the creator?s vision on the design of clothing products.

 

SEROUSSI

 

SEROUSSI Ia?i presented the seasonal collection, with a varied range, both chromatically and from the point of view of fabrics, made of natural fibers, with outfits adapted to the requirements of the modern man, conservative or cosmopolitan.

 

CRISTIANA MARIA PURDESCU

 

Poet, visual artist and phd in Fine and Decorative Arts, CRISTIANA MARIA PURDESCU presented a collection of clothing art, in which her clothing creations adorned the body of the mannequins according to directions related to harmony and elegance, in a balance of shapes and colors which completes the person?s appearance.

 

DAMES

 

DAMES from Ia?i conquered the public with a collection that distinguished itself by elegant, tasteful office suits, with digital prints, spectacular, versatile, perfect for ladies who want to impose themselves in society by wearing business outfits.

 

KASTA MORRELY KIDS

 

The children of Kasta Morrely Kids presented the Mirage of Nature collection, to the creation and message of which they also contributed with their imagination. Kasta Morrely Kids is a specialized department set up at the initiative of the members of the association who wanted to involve their children in projects and cultural and educational programs specific to their age.

 

DALEEA FASHION

 

With a remarkable presence, for over 20 years in Cluj-Napoca, DALEEA FASHION presented the collection 'Ethno Passion by Daleea' which used folklore as a source of inspiration. The outfits were distinguished by quality, authenticity and the excellent combination of materials, textures, colors, which confirmed the unmistakable signature of Daleea Fashion House clothing creations.

 

THE UNIVERSITY OF ORADEA

 

An integrated vision of fashion sustainability also means constant support for young talent. Kasta Morrely Fashion Week in collaboration with the Department of Visual Arts of the Faculty of Arts, the University of Oradea supported the presence of student Vanessa Ursu on the podium with her first clothing collection.
